How it works

Simple in.
Threats out.

You’re covered.

Enter your trademark number. We watch everything, tell you what
matters, and handle enforcement when you need us to. Here’s
the full picture.

The process

Five steps. Most of them are ours.

01

Every violation brings the client back to your desk

Trademark offices, marketplaces, social platforms, domain registries, ad networks, the open web, AI training datasets. All checked automatically, every week, whether or not anything is happening. Most of our clients never have to think about this step.

02

We scan 240+ sources every single week

Trademark offices, marketplaces, social platforms, domain registries, ad networks, the open web, AI training datasets. All checked automatically, every week, whether or not anything is happening. Most of our clients never have to think about this step.

03

Every alert gets a plain-English verdict

Our AI — trained on thousands of real trademark cases — scores every hit and assigns it a verdict: Needs Action, Watching, or All Good. Each one comes with the specific reason and, on Watch + Enforce, a prepared enforcement response ready to go.

04

Your report lands Monday morning

A clean, structured report — the same format every week. Threats at the top, low-priority items at the bottom, everything explained in plain English. Most clients spend under ten minutes on it.

05

You approve — we handle it

On Watch + Enforce, every “Needs Action” alert already has the enforcement response drafted and the infringer’s contact information found. You review, select an action, click approve. We file the opposition, send the C&D, submit the takedown — and follow up until it’s resolved.

01

Every violation brings the client back to your desk

One registration number from USPTO and we pull your full mark data automatically — classes, goods, renewal deadlines, ownership details. No forms, no uploads, no back-and-forth. Done in under five minutes.

The verdict system

Three categories. Always crystal clear.

The verdict system

A real threat with a deadline attached.

Genuine conflict, infringement, or fraud that needs a response. We tell you the risk, the deadline, and what to do. The enforcement action is already prepared.

“New USPTO filing — same name, same industry. Opposition closes April 9. Brief is ready.”

Keeping a Close Eye

Something's there — not urgent yet.

A parked domain, a growing lookalike brand, an adjacent filing. We’re watching it weekly and will escalate immediately if anything changes.

“Parked typosquat — nothing on it yet. C&D drafted and ready the moment it goes live.”

All Good — Relax

We checked it and it's fine.

We found something, investigated it, and confirmed it’s not a threat. We include these so you know nothing slipped through.

“Restaurant filing with a similar name — completely different industry. Nothing to do here.”

FAQ

Questions we get all the time.
How long does setup actually take?

Genuinely five minutes. You enter your USPTO registration number, we pull everything else automatically, and your monitoring profile is live within 24 hours. Your first report arrives the following Monday morning.

Both plans include identical monitoring and weekly reports with the same verdict system. The difference is what happens when you find something. Watch gives you ready-to-use templates and you take the next step. Watch + Enforce means we draft the enforcement letter, find the infringer’s contact information, and submit it on your behalf once you approve. One click and it’s handled.

Trademark monitoring requires a registration number. However, our domain monitoring, social media watching, copyright content tracking, and marketplace monitoring are available to any brand — registered or not. If you’re in the process of registering, we can set up monitoring on your pending application so you’re covered from day one.

For time-sensitive threats — like a 30-day trademark opposition window opening, a fake account going viral, or a phishing site going live — we send an immediate alert the same day, not just your weekly Monday report. We understand that some deadlines can’t wait a week.

On Watch + Enforce, when you approve an action, we handle everything — filing the USPTO opposition, sending the cease-and-desist letter, submitting the Amazon Brand Registry complaint, or filing the DMCA takedown. You review and approve, we execute and confirm. Every action is receipted. For matters requiring a licensed attorney, we refer you to our network of IP specialists.

Amazon Brand Registry only protects you on Amazon. BrandWatch monitors Amazon plus 240+ trademark databases, all major social platforms, 1,000+ domain extensions, Etsy, eBay, TikTok Shop, and the open web — simultaneously. Brand Registry is one useful tool. BrandWatch is everything else on top of it.

Yes. Upload your key product images and brand assets and we use visual fingerprinting to detect unauthorized use across marketplaces, social platforms, competitor websites, and AI training datasets. When we find unauthorized use, we send takedown notices on your behalf (Watch + Enforce) or provide a ready-to-use DMCA template (Watch).

Firm Edition clients get everything above, completely white-labeled. Your clients see your firm’s name, logo, and contact details on every report, alert, and portal page — not BrandWatch. You manage all client marks from one firm dashboard and approve actions across your entire client portfolio. Every violation that needs legal guidance comes back to your firm via the “Talk to my attorney” button in every report.

No contract on monthly plans. Cancel or pause anytime. Firm Edition requires a minimum of 10 marks to access wholesale pricing. Volume discounts apply automatically at 3+ and 10+ marks — no need to negotiate or ask.

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all monthly plans. If your first report doesn’t deliver clear value, we’ll refund your payment in full — no questions, no forms, no awkward conversation.
